In response to the many generous offers to support Chris's family during this difficult time, we have created this memorial fund. The contributions will be dedicated to establishing a lasting scholarship in Chris's memory.
In loving memory of Chris, a beloved flag football referee whose passion for the sport touched countless lives across the Puget Sound region and beyond. Chris was a dedicated official who celebrated flag football's historic journey, from local leagues to its upcoming debut as an Olympic sport. His enthusiasm for the sport's growth took him from Washington to Arizona to Florida to referee games, and he was especially proud to have recently refereed a girls' regional championship game as the sport continues to expand at all levels. To honor Chris's legacy and his commitment to advancing the sport, we are establishing a flag football scholarship fund for students in the Puget Sound area. Your contribution will help keep Chris's spirit alive by supporting young athletes who share his love for the game, while fostering the growth of a sport that meant so much to him. |
