Mission & vision
Brave and Unbroken Project helps survivors healing through art/theatre, retreats, advocacy, education, justice, and community.
1. We will create and provide brave safe spaces for survivors of incest & child sexual abuse to connect to community and shatter their shame and silence, through theatre, art, and retreats - all steps in the healing process.
2. We will educate adults in prevention of child sexual abuse. Brave and Unbroken Project will work to bring prevention training to underserved communities, by partnering with experts in many areas. The project is also committed to educating young people in safety when it comes to their bodies.
3. We will advocate for victims of child sexual abuse and non- offending parents/guardians in all ways possible, with partnerships within the field.
4. Resilience...We are committed to helping survivors thrive in their lives. SoulFire healing retreats and peer support - healing through community and building resilience for survivors.

Link Between Child Abuse and Substance Abuse"Parents with substance abuse problems are less likely to effectively function in a parental role. This is due to the constant physical and mental impairment caused by alcohol and drugs, the difficulties with regulating emotions and controlling anger and impulsivity, the lack of household resources stemming from habitual spending on drugs and alcohol, and the amount of time spent away from children during incarceration or while seeking out, manufacturing, or using alcohol and drugs."

Healing in community.
A space for women to come together and heal in community. Incest, child sexual abuse, rape, molestation, do not have to define us. Healing in community can change the trajectory of our lives. Brave and Unbroken Project wants to bring Child Sexual Abuse Prevention training to all communities. Your donation makes that possible. 2022 we trained 500 adults, 2023 our goal is 700. It costs 10$ per person for prevention training. Thank you for your donation!!
Support our prevention programming. We train community members from all walks of life. We know that when we can educate and raise awareness we can continue to shift generational trauma through community.
SoulFire Healing RetreatsSoulFire healing weekends are essential for women healing from sexual trauma. We want to assure our SoulFire program is accessible to all women assuring no financial barriers. Your donation helps assure we can make all our programs accessible. You can sponsor a woman attendee with a donation of $500. Thank you.
