I challenged you all to a couple things in that post:
"Challenge this week for everyone--what do you want to do? What is your passion? What is your fear?? Tackle one of them...and make a difference....."
I am happy to report that I have had emails from many of you tackling your fears and making a difference in your life....you are no longer allowing your perpetrator to control life.
One finally shared the abuse that she suffered at the hands of her father to the rest of her family. Her father has passed away, but she was able to open up about her abuse and let her family hear the truth.
Another faced her perpetrator in court and managed through the proceedings without having a nervous breakdown. This is a grand accomplishment, one of the toughest things in my journey was facing my abuser in the court room.
Had an email from a man whose mother sexually abused him, he has struggled in all of his relationships and 2 broken marriages. He has been with his current wife 4 years (longest ever) and are going strong with a new baby on the way. He faced his fears of rejection and has been able to move forward with counseling and amazing support by his wife.
The list goes on...but the theme that I love seeing, is everyone....all of you tackling what matters -- tackling the things in your life that control you -- you are moving beyond the pain and forward to living. WAY TO GO!
Keep the messages coming....FIND YOUR VOICE...
Praying for lives to be changed.
