My youngest son recently had the opportunity to act in a public service announcement regarding child sexual abuse. What an opportunity for him to be a part of and something that I am extremely passionate about.
When I talked about the script with my son and let him read the words...I realized that we talk about this topic, but either it hadn't sunk in or I have failed miserably in my delivery.
This was a great opportunity for me to tackle this topic further with my boys and assure that they are completely aware of the topic, the implications and what it all means.
This PSA is intense, but its reality. Nine out of 10 abusers are someone that the family and the child know - most of which is in the inner family circle. Things like "its just between us", "don't tell", or even threats of punishment can and will be used.
Please, if you do only one thing, share this video and talk with your families, your kids - any children in your lives - talk with people you know, share the video so that they too will share. Let's make this go across the nation.

Yes, I am a little biased - my son is in the video, but more than that...this video could have changed my childhood - this video could stop a pedophile, it could change the course of a child's life. Please, this one time....do not hesitate.
